Mr. Parker speaks Japanese, French and English, has a BA in English from The University of Pennsylvania and an MA in Digital Technology from Fresno Pacific University.  He studied Creative Writing at Upenn, Harvard and Colombia Universities.  He’s been published in The Los Angeles Times, The Japan Times, Insights and WriitenBy, The Magazine of The Writer's Guild of America. He is the founder, producer and director of The World Spice Festival, an International Arts event produced with the Kanagawa Prefectural Government in Japan, to introduce foreign citizens to cultures from around the Globe. He has served as a consultant to The Kanagawa Government on the Development of International Cities,  was contracted to Produce and Consult for The Tokyo World City Expo, and Produced International PR Events for Seibu Department Stores. His work has been featured on NHK, Telebi Tomato, J-Wave, NHK Radio, The Japan Times, The Asahi Shimbun, and The Yomiuri Daily.
